With the long awaited release today of Dan Browns novel The Lost Symbol, bookies Paddy Power Sports are predicting global sales of between 2-3 million copies during its first week of release, smashing the previous record set with Browns last novel; the Da Vinci Code.
Paddy Power Sports are also offering odds of 6/5 for The Lost Symbol to be this weeks NY Times bestseller and, closer to home, odds of 8/11 to top Easons best seller list this week. Betting is also available with Paddy Power Sports on when the now customary movie adaptation of the novel will be released in cinemas. A 2012 worldwide release is the 9/4 favourite.
