Enda Kenny is due to announce his new front bench next week and Paddy Power are betting that it’s a two horse race to be deputy leader.
Phil Hogan is the bookie’s odds-on 1/2 favourite to land the position ahead of Dr. James Reilly at 6/4. Alan Shatter comes next in the list at 10/1 with Deirdre Clune at 14/1 and Richard Bruton a very unlikely 50/1 for a return.
Most speculation has centred around Hogan to date and his refusal to comment has only fuelled punters’ belief that he is soon to be appointed.
