Bookmakers Paddy Power are betting Girl Power will dominate the world once more if plans for a Spice Girl musical get the go ahead.
The girls are currently planning a How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria-style show to help find versions of themselves for a Spice Girls movie. The musical could prove to be a massive hit worldwide and the odds are already in favour of it becoming a huge success.
Its just 1/3 that the Spice Girls musical goes on to win a prestigious Laurence Olivier award, 9/4 it wins a Tony Award and 10/1 that it tops Andrew Lloyd Webbers Cats opening weekend sales. Theres even 50/1 odds available for it becoming the most successful musical of all time.
As for how long the musical might last – Paddy Power are quoting 11/10 it will run for more than five years and 33/1 it outlives Cats record of twenty-one years on the West End and eighteen years on Broadway!

Meanwhile, ITV are the 5/6 favourites to win the broadcasting rights to the show that will search for the new spice girls while comedy duo Ant & Dec are the Bookmakers 2/1 favourites to host the new show. Irish funny man Graham Norton is a close second at 9/4.
